San Francisco
Fairmont San Francisco’s Spirited Tea:  Available Saturdays and Sundays, 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., until Nov. 2. This formal afternoon tea arrives with a spook-tacular menu at Laurel Court restaurant on the lobby level of the Fairmont. As far as we know, the hotel is one of the first in the nation to offer a Halloween-themed tea service. Come in costume and partake in tiers of treats such as egg salad, roasted carrots, crab salad, and salmon mousse.  Delight in dark chocolate cupcakes,  macarons, and other indulgences giving a nod to the season. The afternoon promises to be “fang”-tastic. Pun intended. Make reservations by calling 1.800.441.1441. Location: 950 Mason Street.  See Fairmont-san-francisco.com.
