In Person Class: Animate a Boat, Sat. August 17, 10:30-noon, adults; 1-2:30 youth. From hand-drawn techniques in the film Pinocchio (1940) to 3D innovations in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Frozen 2 (2019), join artists as they dive into how water has made waves in various forms throughout animation history and discover the evolution of and technological advancements within effects animation. Learn to animate a boat joyfully floating amongst the tides. Price: same as above.
In Person and Zoom Class: Animate Spoonful of Sugar, Sat. August 24 (Zoom) and Sat. August 31 (in person). Adult session 10:30-noon; Youth 1-2:30. Celebrate the 60th anniversary of Mary Poppins and animate your own character “taking a spoonful of sugar” using hand drawing techniques. Price: same as above.
